The umbrella canopy is made from 100% recycled polyester pongee. Recycled polyester gives existing plastic material another use, reducing the requirement for virgin polyester.

waterSAVE® is FARE's water-saving fabric production process. Instead of the conventional process of dyeing finished fabric, the colour is incorporated earlier in production. This substantially reduces the amount of water required during manufacture while also reducing waste associated with the dyeing process.
In practical terms, “recycled & waterSAVE®” describes two separate sustainability benefits:
